Frequently Asked Questions
Why was a page I visited adjusted or removed?
Certain content may fall outside AIM’s Clarity Standards. When information has the potential to disrupt emotional stability or create internal conflict, the Stability Engine performs automatic adjustments to protect your cognitive environment.
Why do I sometimes receive “Guidance Notices” after browsing?
Guidance Notices appear when behavioral patterns show signs of drift from your typical baseline. These notices are designed to gently redirect your focus toward healthier, constructive material. They are not disciplinary and do not affect your Alignment Profile unless repeated over extended periods.
What determines my Alignment Score?
Your Alignment Score is calculated through a combination of content interaction, emotional response markers, and general behavioral rhythm. AIM does not monitor your private thoughts; we simply measure how you engage with the environments you choose to enter.
Why does the Bureau sometimes modify my search results?
In rare cases, unfiltered results may contain destabilizing contradictions that conflict with the Harmony Index of your region. Adjustments ensure that every user receives an experience tailored to their mental safety, community cohesion, and long-term developmental trajectory.
Can I request access to restricted or redacted material?
You may submit an access appeal, but approval is limited to users with verified Clarity Clearance Level 3 or higher. If your request is denied, it simply means your current cognitive stability metrics do not support exposure at this time. Many users find this reassuring.
